The Paris-Brest is one of the most famous patisserie in France. It's made with chou pastry topped with roasted chopped hazelnuts and pearl sugar for a bit of crunch and filled with a flavourful and silky hazelnut cream.
This delicious cake has been created in 1910 to illustrate the cycling race from Paris to Brest (about 600 kilometers/450 miles) in France.
This cake needs to be kept in a fridge (food safety).
- Small: for 4 people (approx. 15cm/6" diameter)
- Large: for 8 people (approx. 20cm/8" diameter)
